Kementerian Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia
2015 - 2015
My internship was in the Directorate for Protection of Indonesian Citizens and Legal Entities Abroad where I expected to get a simulation in a career as Foreign Service Officer (FSO). The main reason that I chose to do my internship here was because of my field of study, which is International Law. International Law has become a ground knowledge that every FSO should have for it guides every action and advocacy they take in defending the national interest. My involvement was obliged to work in line with MoFA’s functions and Indonesian’s Foreign Policy regarding protection of Indonesian citizens and legal entities abroad. Another responsibilities that I took were writing assignments and research papers, participating in Directorate-specific projects and events, and sharing through its mentorship program. My internship has allowed me to gain insights on the work and life of an FSO.
Lembaga Studi dan Advokasi Masyarakat (ELSAM)
2015 - 2015
My duty in translating document from Indonesian to English in ELSAM was my first experience as voluntary translator. I worked online and translated various articles and reports related to Human Rights and Business issues in Indonesia. Each article has 3-5 pages, and I translated approximately 9 articles and/or reports per week. Being a voluntary translator with a strict deadline at ELSAM has taught me to become discipline in time-management.
